Hilo Bay Sunset

A fiery sunset lights up the sky over Hilo Bay on the Big Island of Hawaii. This is a seven-shot panoramic image looking towards downtown Hilo from Lili'oukalani Gardens.
Hilo, Hawaii overlooks Hilo Bay, North of the bay runs the Hamakua Coast on the slopes of Mauna Kea, and south of the bay is the Puna district on the slopes of Mauna Loa. In this image, you can see Mauna Kea on the right and Mauna Loa on the left. In the distance, you can see the town of Hilo and the bay-front shops. To the left of the bay front shops, you will see the Kamehameha Canoe Club. Here is where they practice the art and sport of outrigger canoe racing. Hilo Bay is also home to the famous Suisan Fish Market, where fishermen deliver fresh Hawaiian wild-caught fish. They also make the best poke on the Big Island.
