As a photographer, I search tirelessly for photo opportunities such as the one in this image. When all of the elements come together, such as an incredible sunset, a beautiful sleeping honu (Hawaiian green sea turtle), and a stunning Hawaii beach with nobody around, I wonder why this could not happen more often. This is what I feel makes photography exciting and challenging. I feel blessed to live in a place where I have the opportunity to witness such beauty and turn it into art.
